One week ago today, a 12-13 story building here in Kisii Town completely collapsed, covering a main road around town. There were people trapped inside for several days. The last survivor was rescued 5 days after the rescuers began going through the rubble. They called off further search & rescue efforts yesterday. We have heard some differing reports concerning the loss of life and injuries, but to the best of our knowledge 9 were killed and over 40 were injured during the collapse. Please keep the families of those involved in your prayers.
